Ministry Of Housing Markets 2000 Plots Of Land To "Bayeet Al Watan"
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 24 - 06 - 2012

Eng. Khaled Mahmoud, minister of housing assistant for technical affairs, said the ministry succeeded in marketing 2000 plots of lands in the project of "Bayeet Al Watan", which aims to market 7600 special plots of lands for expatriates. The number of those who registered on the ministry's website reached 7000 investors; aiming to achieve $ 2 billion, before the specified period for the project in August 31.
He emphasized on the continuity of presenting, as it is an international project has no relation with the changes of the government, citing the ministry's commitment to implement the national housing project even erupting the revolution of Jan 25. He mentioned that he doesn't know the volume of the project's sales, because it is in the lists of Housing and Development Bank.
Mahmoud elaborated that the project targets to achieve $ 2 billion sales so far, instead of $ 3,5 billion. This is due to decreasing the number of presented lands from 8000 to 7600 plots. He expected expanding the period of presenting lands, because of the state of alertness that all the investors have amid the current political turmoil.
The space of the projects' plots range from 700 to 800 meters in special regions of the new cities; New cairo, Al Sheikh Zayed, Badr, New Demietta and New Menia, with prices start from $ 200 to 675 per meter.
