Gulf Air,the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched an all-new Ramadan promotion offering unbeatable deals for customers from Bahrain and the GCC countries to travel to20 popular destinations across its network in Europe, Indian sub-continent, Far East and the Middle East.
Fares have been reduced substantially to certain destinations making it affordable and offering real value-for-money fares on several destinations for those who plan their travel in advance.
The campaign, which opens on 20 June, will run only for 10 days, closing on 30 June and is available on sale online at www.gulfair.com, any of the Gulf Air offices in the GCC countries or from Gulf Air worldwide Contact Centre. The highlight of the campaign is the extended travel period that allows passengers to book now and fly from 18 July until 18 October.
For example, the economy return fare from Bahrain to London is only BD288 including all taxes under the promo. For an all-inclusive fare of just BD125, one can travel from Bahrain to Bombay and return. The economy return fare from Bahrain to Beirut has been reduced to BD 141 while the fare to Istanbul is onlyBD170 with all taxes included. The all-inclusive return fares for Karachi is just BD 144. “With the Holy month of Ramadan less than four weeks away, it is the time when expatriate Muslims from Bahrain and the wider Gulf region plan their travel to join their families to observe fasting, celebrate Eid at home and comeback," says Gulf Air Chief Commercial Officer Karim Makhlouf.“It is also a time for residents and non-Muslims to plan their vacation to their favourite destinationswell in advance. By offering these promotional fares we would like to make their travel and vacation more affordable and enjoyable. We invite all our customers to take advantage of these fantastic value-for-moneydeals during this Ramadan campaign."
One of the attractive features of the promotion is the extended travel period; unlike other such promotions that usually allow a very limited travel period, our promotion allows customers to travel up to October 2012, giving our varied customer-segments added convenience of longer travel period. We hope our customers will find this great offer irresistible and enjoy Gulf Air's brand new fleet and its enhanced products and services."
Gulf Air now operates a very young fleet with an average age of just 5.2 years most of which have been fitted with modern interiors, full flatbed seats on Falcon Gold class, the world's first in-flight entertainment suite, “SkyHub" that offers hi-speed broad band internet, mobile phone connectivity, live TV telecasting popular international entertainment and sports channels, and a vast collection of movies, music and games.
In addition Gulf Air's unique Sky Nanny and Sky Chef services have received positive feedback from customers leading to the airline winning a few awards such as the best ‘family friendly airline' award twice from US-based publications and the ‘best cabin crew' ranking from an IATA survey.
