Egypt's Beltone begins market-making activity on Nasdaq Dubai

Beltone Market Maker, a unit of Egyptian investment bank Beltone Financial Holding, started Tuesday providing market-making services in Orascom Construction's shares on Nasdaq Dubai.
The move aims at supporting liquidity in Orascom's shares, which are listed on Nasdaq Dubai in March 2015, the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Our market-making services benefit global as well as regional investors who wish to trade Orascom Construction shares on the Middle East's international exchange," Beltone's Chairman Sameh EL-Torgoman said
"We look forward to market-making other Nasdaq Dubai securities as well as the exchange attracts new listings from Egypt and elsewhere." EL-Torgoman added.
"This trend benefits both issuers who wish to raise capital and investors seeking easy access to the shares of attractive companies on an exchange regulated to international standards," according to Hamed Ali, CEO of Nasdaq Dubai.
