Xceed: Customers' Data Confidentiality Hinders Banks' Outsourcing Services
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 31 - 05 - 2012

Adel Danish, CEO of Xceed Egypt for outsourcing services, said the company aims to expand call center services to the financial sectors; banks and insurance companies. He explained that imposing restrictions on the customers' data, by the central bank, impedes the companies specialized in providing services.
Danish mentioned that the company is now targeting new sectors which don't work in communications and information technology, this is to achieve integration in call center services through depending on internal sources of the companies or adapting outsourcing.
He added that the company is negotiating with a number of banks and insurance companies in order to provide services. He underscored the company has no powers to negotiate with the central bank around the securing procedures on the customers' data. The company is also trying to gain the customers' trust in the banking sector by providing experimental services before contract.
European countries and North America depend on pumping investment in Egypt's outsourcing sector, due to the low cost and language skills of the youth working in the sector. He referred that Gulf markets are the least in pumping investment on the short-term, because of the high cost of the calls between Egypt and Gulf countries.
The companies that work in communications sector in Gulf countries, which receive the services from Egyptian outsourcing companies, bear 50% of calls cost. Danish referred that the cooperation with Gulf countries has the advantage of language which help Egyptians work in the sector to have more openings for the Egyptian youth.
Denish mentioned that Xceed hasn't faced any retreat in 2011, except the period of revolution; referring that the sector of the foreign companies is highly influenced, as new companies refuse to enter the Egyptian market due to the current turmoil.
