Al-Futtaim's Cairo Festival City mall to increase rental rate by 6% in 2017

Cairo Festival City mall , developed and operated by UAE Al-Futtaim Group, is set to embrace a plan to increase the number of rented stores by 6 percent compared to a year earlier through offering 20 new stores for rent, its general manager secretary Sam Hosn said Tuesday.
In addition, Cairo Festival City is currently planning to attract new global brands and five restaurants, Hosn noted.
The total rental area of the entire mall is estimated at 158,000 square meter encompassing 310 stores and 95 restaurants, in addition to 32,000 square meter allocated for IKEA.
Spanning 3 million square metres, Cairo Festival City is a visionary mixed use urban community, strategically located just 15 minutes from Cairo International Airport on the Ring Road and near the districts of Maadi to the south and Heliopolis, Nasr City, Mokattam to the west.
