The board of Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF) holds a meeting today to select Senior Commander Ahmed Shafiq as a consensus candidate for the presidential elections, after stepping to the runoff. Elhamy Al Zayat, the chairman of ETF, said the federation holds a meeting to endorse Ahmed Shafiq in the presidential elections. Al Zayat asserted that the sector needs actions not promises. It wants a clear action plan, so the Senior Commander has a clear plan for supporting the tourism. Al Zayat said that he fears of electing Dr. Mohamed Morsi in order not to set disciplines on tourism; particularly tourism is suffering at the present time from a state of recession since 16 months.
