Egypt, Japan to sign 16 deals during Sisi's Tokyo visit

The Japanese and Egyptian businessmen will sign 16 agreements during an economic forum scheduled for March 2 in Tokyo in the presence of the president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, announced Ibrahim El-Araby the chairman of Egypt-Japan Business Council on Saturday.
The economic forum is organized by Egypt-Japan Business Council in cooperation with the Federation of Japanese Chambers Of Commerce and The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
El-Araby said that the number of Japanese business men who confirmed attendance in the forum has reached 300 businessmen while the number of Egyptian businessmen who would participate is 45 businessmen besides the official delegation. He anticipated that the number of Japanese businessmen would increase during the upcoming days before the Egyptian President arrival to Japan.
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will arrive in Japan on Sunday, February 28 and, over the following three days, is scheduled to hold discussions with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and meet Emperor Akihito at the Imperial Palace.
Egypt's president will also hold a meeting with Japanese businessmen for discussions on topics that will range from trade to economic assistance and security issues.
