The CEO of Lafarge Egypt, a leader in building materials, is taking part Monday in Euromoney Conference to discuss efforts to support the Egyptian construction sector.
Egypt's Euromoney conference is taking place on September 7-8, 2015.
In its continued effort to support the country's construction sector, Lafarge Egypt's CEO, Hussein Mansi, is participating in the Real Estate, Construction and Housing panel. Keynote speakers at the event also include Minister of Finance Hany Kadry Dimian, Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman alongside Mohamed Omran, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange and Sherif Samy, Chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority.
The conference, celebrating its 20th anniversary in Cairo, is launching a new agenda format to discuss the current key topics with the focus on an inclusive, audience driven approach via a live Twitter poll. The event, which is themed "Financing the Future," has begun with a series of short films and conversations with key figures in Egypt's financial sector, including Ministers, policymakers, private sector bankers and international financial leaders. In addition, Euromoney 2015 is set to take a look at the current mega projects taking place in Egypt, with workshops discussing the Suez Canal Corridor, Energy and Electricity, and Construction and Housing.
"We are excited to be participating in a prestigious event as Euromoney 2015," said Hussein Mansi, CEO of Lafarge Egypt. "At Lafarge Egypt, it is our priority to continue to support the construction sector in Egypt by tackling the current issues the country is facing, and finding solutions to the challenges along with our fellow industry players. As a leader in building solutions, we also aim to continue to do our part in this community to encourage sustainable operations across all plants in Egypt."
