EGX Pares Its Gains To EGP 520 Mln

On Monday closing session, the EGX posted losses of EGP 520 million as the capital market amounted to EGP 352.506 billion. The main index, EGX30 went up 0.49% to close at 4945.21 p. EGX20 slumped 0.24% to close at 5819.91 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 edged up 0.11% to close at 432.62 p. Price index EGX100 fell 0.40% to close at 778.62 p.
Traded volume reached million 80.576 securities worth EGP 350.789 million, exchanged through 19.672 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 177 listed securities; 96 declined and 66 advanced while 15 keeping their previous levels.
Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 66.56% and 6.45% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 26.017 million and EGP 18.324 million excluding the deals.
On the other hand, non-Arab Foreigners a were net sellers seizing 26.99%, with a net equity of EGP 44.342 million, excluding the deals.
