EGX Closes Bullish, Gains EGP 5 Bln

On Wednesday's closing session, the EGX posted gains of EGP 5.33 billion as the capital market amounted to EGP 341.616 billion.
The main index, EGX 30 jumped 2.05% to close at 4651.88 p. EGX20 soars 3.86% to close at 5342.38 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 rose 1.68% to close at 430.64 p. Price index EGX100 climbed 2.19% to close at 754.72 p.
Traded volume reached million 121.214 securities, at a value of EGP 424.637 million, exchanged through 21.487 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 176 listed securities; 17 down and 146 up while 13 keeping their previous levels.
Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 74.7% and 6.43% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 74.504 million and EGP 1.054 million, excluding the deals.
On the other hand, the non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers seizing 18.87%, with a net equity of EGP 75.558 million, excluding the deals.
