Egypt and Algeria signed a wide-ranging set of agreements on Wednesday covering trade, industry, education, culture, energy, and social development, following the ninth session of the Egyptian-Algerian High Joint Committee in Cairo. The agreements, witnessed by Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, include memorandums of understanding and executive programmes aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation and investment across multiple sectors. Key areas include housing and urban development, agricultural research, higher education, youth and sports, culture, local development, trade and investment, finance, renewable energy, vocational training, social solidarity, consumer protection, and public administration. The session concluded with Madbouly and Ghrieb signing the official record of the ninth session of the High Joint Committee, underscoring the two nations' commitment to expanding economic, technical, and cultural cooperation.
