Egypt plans to sign 50 new outsourcing agreements with 50 major global firms next Sunday, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Thursday, describing the information and communications technology sector as a key driver of economic growth. Madbouly said the anticipated deals highlight Egypt's rising competitiveness in the global outsourcing market and its push to create high-value digital jobs for young people. The prime minister made the remarks during a press conference announcing a multibillion-dollar Qatari real estate investment deal, adding that the ICT sector "has become a locomotive of development" in Egypt's economic transformation strategy.
