Egypt and Lebanon have signed 15 new cooperation agreements covering strategic sectors aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and advancing joint development efforts. Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced the agreements during a press conference held ahead of the meeting co-chaired by the Egyptian and Lebanese prime ministers as part of the Egyptian–Lebanese Joint Higher Committee to review key areas of bilateral cooperation. According to a Cabinet statement issued following the meeting, the agreements cover trade, investment, food security, food safety, electricity, renewable energy, industry, petroleum, gas, and reconstruction.
