Gold prices in Egypt dropped on Tuesday, tracking losses in global bullion markets and volatility in the local exchange rate.
As of 16:44 local time (13:44 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 6,040 Egyptian pounds per gram, down from 6,171.50 pounds on 27 October, according to market data.
