Egypt's food industry exports reached $4.03 billion in the first half of 2025, an 8 per cent increase compared to $3.74 billion in the same period last year, the Food Export Council (FEC) reported on Sunday. Frozen strawberries led Egypt's food exports with $517 million, followed by cola concentrates $360 million, cooking oils $220 million, and sugar $214 million, according to the council's report. Other key products included cereal-based preparations $183 million, prepared animal feed $162 million, frozen vegetables $160 million, frozen potatoes $157 million, and chocolate $122 million.
