Egypt's Food Export Council (FEC) highlights significant untapped export opportunities for Egyptian food products in the US, with an estimated potential value of around $130 million, as per an official statement. Some of the top products with untapped export potential include prepared or preserved olives, which could yield $52 million in exports, frozen strawberries with a potential of $43 million, and dry pasta without eggs, valued at $20 million. Additional products include sugar confectionery without cocoa at $7.4 million, honey at $2.8 million, and tomato sauce and ketchup with $1.7 million in potential exports, the statement added. The report also highlighted potential in processed cheese and dried onions at $1.3 million and $1.1 million, respectively. Preserved bovine meat could yield $414,000 and preserved tomatoes $565,000.
