Gold prices dip in Thursday trading

Spot gold prices dropped on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 12:21 pm GMT by 0.25 per cent to $3,340.12 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,348.43.
Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.18 per cent to $3,382.52 per ounce, down from Wednesday's closing price of $3,388.5.
