Egypt reviews sugar industry growth plans, challenges

Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss opportunities and challenges in Egypt's sugar industry, reaffirming its strategic importance to national food security.
Madbouly directed ministers to coordinate with manufacturers on a clear action plan aligning with the state's production and demand strategy.
The meeting also addressed support for related industries, environmental compliance, and sustainability upgrades at sugar factories.
