Egypt's Ministry of Labour announced 600 free training grants for graduates at the Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) training centre, as part of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to equip youth with skills aligned with labour market demands. The programme targets graduates in engineering, electricity, mechanics, technical institutes, and diploma holders, and is being launched in coordination with Petroleum Minister Karim Badawi and Company Chairman Osama Kamel. According to the cabinet statement, details and the application link will be released soon. Minister of Labour Mohamed Gobran praised the company's commitment to training young engineers and building human capital, noting its internationally accredited centre delivers programmes based on global standards.
