CBE extends compliance deadline for registered auditors

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has extended the deadline for auditors and affiliated accounting firms listed in its official register to regularise their status, the bank announced on Wednesday.
The grace period, originally set to expire on 20 May 2025, has been extended by six months and will now conclude on 20 November 2025. The extension applies to entities subject to the CBE's rules for registration and delisting of auditors and accounting firms.
