The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended on a mixed note on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX30 index rising 0.43 per cent to 31,827.86 points, while the EGX33 Shariah-compliant index dipped 0.41 per cent to 3,277.69 points. The EGX70 index, tracking small and mid-cap stocks, fell 0.33 per cent to 9,430.69 points, and the broader EGX100 declined 0.25 per cent to 12,779.55 points. Market capitalisation stood at 2.26 trillion Egyptian pounds. Non-Arab foreign investors were net buyers with inflows totalling 6,839,407,694 Egyptian pounds. In contrast, Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers, offloading 6,165,641,137 Egyptian pounds and 673,766,557 Egyptian pounds worth of shares, respectively. Top gainers 1. Shares of Middle Egypt Flour Mills climbed by 11.45 per cent, to close at 57.930 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development jumped by 7.37 per cent, to close at 1.020 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of Nasr Company for Civil Works surged by 6.43 per cent, to close at the price of 5.130 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers 1. Shares of The Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda declined by 12.44 per cent, to close at the price of 3.660 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment fell by 5.24 per cent, to trade at the price of 23.500 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
