Egypt's Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny held a meeting on Monday to follow up on the progress of the Great Transfiguration development project in Saint Catherine City, Sinai, as per a Cabinet statement. The meeting reviewed the Peace Square project, Wadi El-Deir development, eco-lodge construction in Wadi El-Raha, and hotel resort establishment in Zeitouna. El-Sherbiny stressed the need for the timely completion of all projects. He also oversaw work progress and supplies, addressing observations from a recent visit to the Zitouna hotel resort. They instructed the completion of work in green areas and regular monitoring of all activities. The meeting discussed the new Visitor Centre, heritage city centre development, Mosque of the Holy Valley, shop renovations, Wadi Al-Arbaeen development, and the importance of green areas. Discussions covered the status of wastewater treatment plants in the heritage city and Zeitouna, as well as progress on the 9km road from Nabi Saleh checkpoint to the Visitor Centre and electrical network installations.
