Egypt's stock market ended mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX30 index inching up 0.09 per cent to close at 32,043.48 points, while broader indices saw losses. The EGX33 Shariah-compliant index rose 0.23 per cent to 3,302.3 points. Meanwhile, the EGX70 index for small and mid-cap stocks slipped 0.33 per cent to 9,289.77 points, and the broader EGX100 index fell 0.29 per cent to 12,713.6 points. Total market capitalisation stood at 2.27 trillion Egyptian pounds. In terms of trading activity, Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with 4.49 billion and 1.88 billion pounds, respectively. Non-Arab foreign investors were net buyers, injecting a net 6.37 billion Egyptian pounds into the market. Top gainers 1. Shares of October Pharma climbed by 14.73 per cent, to close at 114.760 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Upper Egypt Flour Mills jumped by 14.26 per cent, to close at 288.910 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment and Finance surged by 14.05 per cent, to close at the price of 78.820 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers 1. Shares of Egyptian Arabian Company Themar for Securities Brokerage sank by 5.87 per cent, to close at the price of 4.490 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Delta For Printing and Packaging dived 5.82 per cent, to trade at the price of 82.480 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
