Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed Tuesday, April 8, 2025 on green note. The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.64 per cent, to 30,648.98 points. The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.66 per cent to 3,203.15 points. The SMEs index, EGX70 jumped by 1.77 per cent, to 8,871.26 points. The index, EGX100 index soared by 1.55 per cent, to 12,188.65 points. The total market cap reached 2,183,095,662,406 Egyptian pounds. The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 10,053,033,080 Egyptian pounds, and 53,766,380,718 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 63,819,413,798 Egyptian pounds. Top gainers on Tuesday 1. Zahraa Maadi Investment & Development shares climbed by 20.00 per cent, to close at 3.900 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Sinai Cement shares jumped by 14.17 per cent, to close at 44.800 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Al Tawfeek Leasing Company-A.T.LEASE shares surged by 12.22 per cent, to close at the price of 4.500 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers on Tuesday 1. International Agricultural Products shares declined by 5.68 per cent, to close at the price of 13.440 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. GMC GROUP FOR INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS shares fell by 3.70 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.040 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
