Egypt has condemned Israeli airstrikes on Syrian territory, describing them as a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. In a Foreign Ministry statement, Cairo criticised the strikes as an attempt to impose a fait accompli policy, reflecting Israel's insistence on fuelling regional tensions. Egypt called on key international actors and the UN Security Council to fulfil their responsibilities in denouncing Israel's repeated violations, curbing its policies, and compelling it to end its occupation of Syrian land in compliance with international law.
