Myanmar exported more than 2.37 million tons of rice and broken rice in the first 11 months of the 2024-25 fiscal year, said the Rice Federation on Tuesday. The country made $1.09 billion from exporting rice and broken rice in the 11 months from April of last year to February of this year. In February of this year, over 129,452 tons of rice and broken rice were exported, according to the federation. In the 2023-24 fiscal year, Myanmar exported rice and broken rice through sea and land routes to over 30 countries, totalling more than 1.6 million tons and earning over $845 million in revenue, according to official data.
