EGX closes in green on Feb 20

Egypt's stock exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.13 per cent, to 30,914.72 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 0.91 per cent to 3,232.94 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 0.32 per cent, to 8,614.57 points.
The index, EGX100 index surged by 0.43 per cent, to 11,875.52 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,266,746,508,718 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 1,029,756,450 Egyptian pounds, and 1,714,139,843 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were sellers with 2,743,896,293 Egyptian pounds.
Top Risers
1. Shares of International Company For Fertilizers & Chemicals soared by 11.16 per cent, to close at the price of 13.450 Egyptian pounds a share.
2. Shares of Cairo Pharmaceuticals climbed by 10.78 per cent, to trade at the price of 128.130 Egyptian pounds a share.
3. Shares of Arab Valves Company jumped by 8.63 per cent, to the purchasing price of 5.790 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top Fallers
1. Shares of Rowad Tourism (Al Rowad) sank by 4.99 per cent, to close at 27.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
2. Shares of the Egyptian Company for Construction Development-Lift Slab dived by 4.82 per cent, to close at 0.751 Egyptian pounds a share.
3. Shares of Egyptian Iron & Steel plunged by 4.65 per cent, to close at the price of 42.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
