Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population announced that 56,427,878 women have received medical services offered through the Egyptian Women's Health presidential initiative, since its launch in July 2019 and until December 2024. The initiative targets women aged 18 and above, focusing on early detection and examinations for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) while also addressing reproductive health and family planning awareness. The initiative provides comprehensive health examinations for diabetes, high blood pressure, and BMI calculations through weight and height measurements, aiming to detect health issues early for timely intervention and treatment.
