Egypt and Ireland trade volume reached $448 million in the first ten months of 2024, according to recent figures published by Egypt's CAPMAS. Egyptian exports to Ireland during the reporting period amounted to $121 million, primarily comprising fertilisers, electrical machinery, iron and steel, paper products, and agricultural produce. On the other hand, Egypt imported goods worth $327 million from Ireland, with pharmaceuticals, foods, optical instruments, electrical machinery, and dairy products being the major import categories. The report showed that Ireland invested $130 million in Egypt during the fiscal year 2022/2023.
