Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly met Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya in Cairo on Monday to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Kuwait in various fields, especially within the business community. "We are keen to work closely with our Kuwaiti counterparts to invigorate our economic relations, and we are preparing for the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Business Forum to further strengthen these ties," said the Egyptian prime minister in a Cabinet statement. "We are working with our Kuwaiti counterparts to give a new momentum to our economic relations, and we look forward to supporting Kuwaiti investments in Egypt," said Madbouly. He also expressed his hopes to welcome the Kuwaiti Prime Minister to Cairo in the near future. For his part, Minister Al-Yahya highlighted the vital role of the Egyptian community in Kuwait, underscoring the importance of further diversifying the areas of cooperation between the two nations. "The support for Kuwaiti investments in Egypt is a top priority for the Kuwaiti government, and we aim to strengthen these ties as part of a broader strategy to foster key international partnerships," Minister Al-Yahya stated.
