Gold prices fall slightly on Monday's early trade

Gold prices dropped slightly in early trading on Monday, but hovered near the record peak hit last week.
Spot gold prices dropped at 6:40 GMT by 0.05 per cent to $2,657.11 per ounce, compared to Friday's closing price of $ 2,658.32. While, US gold futures rose 0.41 per cent to $ 2,678.95, compared to Friday's closing of $2,6681.
