The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closes in the green area on Thursday, with the main index inching up by 0.08 per cent to 31,276.91 points. The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.35 per cent to 3,061.04 points. The small to mid-size enterprises index, EGX70 added 0.07 per cent to 7,425.65 points. The index, EGX100 increased 0.13 per cent to 10,577.64 points. Egypt's total market capitalisation recorded 2,149,703,494,200 Egyptian pounds. Egyptian and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with total of 1,920,589,625 Egyptian pounds, and 1,033,089,709 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Arabs were sellers with 2,953,679,334 Egyptian pounds. Top Risers 1- Shares of Sabaa International Company For Pharmaceutical and Chemical (SIPC.CA) shares jumped by 20.00 per cent, to close at 0.906 Egyptian pounds a share. 2- Shares of Cairo Educational Services (CAED.CA) shares climbed by 19.98 per cent, to close at 40.480 Egyptian pounds a share. 3- Shares of Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) shares soared by 19.85 per cent, closing at 24.880 Egyptian pounds a share. Top Fallers 1- Shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) shares dived by 6.17 per cent, closing at 3.650 Egyptian pounds a share. 2- Shares of Misr Duty Free Shops (MFSC.CA) shares sank by 6.12 per cent, to close at 33.290 Egyptian pounds per share. 3- Shares of Contact Financial Holding (CNFN.CA) shares shed by 5.59 per cent, to stand at 4.730 Egyptian pounds a share.
