The newly-formed Egyptian Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, under the leadership of Hassan El-Khatib, announced in its maiden meeting on Tuesday its commitment to the strategic goal of boosting Egyptian merchandise exports to $100 billion annually. The ministry aims to achieve its target by promoting export-oriented investments, enhancing product competitiveness in global markets, and exploring new markets, El-Khatib affirmed.
