The U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC will be hosting the Egyptian Central Bank Governor Hisham Ramez along with the AmCham Egypt's Doorknock mission and Dr. Abdel Shakour Shalaan - the Executive Director representing Egypt and twelve Arab countries and the Maldives on the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - for a lengthy meeting on Friday noon.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt has traveled on Thursday early morning to Washington, DC on its annual Doorknock Mission chaired by AmCham Egypt President Gamal Moharram.
AmCham mission will start a new round of talks with U.S. Administration and Congressional Members in order to communicate Egypt's economic reform process as well as take part in the spring annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank which will be organized in Washington, DC for 3 days.
In an exclusive statement to ‘Amwal Al Ghad', Gamal Moharram said the Doorknock mission 2013 – which are comprised of 40 investors - is one of the most pivotal and the first of its kind since President Mohamed Morsi hold his office in June 2013.
