Now is the time that Egypt opens the doors for the Iraqi tourism investments, to provide Iraq with experiences in the tourism field and to encourage the tourism investment, said Hesham Zazou, Egyptian Minister of Tourism. During his meeting with a number of chairmen of Iraqi tourism companies, Hesham Zazou has pointed out to the necessity of developing the mechanisms of tourism between the two countries. The minister called on the companies' owners to cooperate with the Egyptian side so as to seriously work on reviving the tourism, religious, entertainment, historical and others. On his part, the Iraq Tourism Ministry adviser, Mr. Baha al- Mayyah, lauded Egypt's role in the tourism; emphasizing the significance of the cooperation between the Iraqi and Egyptian companies to develop the tourism sector in Iraq and exchanging visits between the two countries as well.
