Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony 2024 kicks off this evening
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 03 - 06 - 2024

The ninth edition of the prestigious Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony 2024 is taking place on Monday evening from 6:00 pm (3:00 GMT) at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo, Nile Plaza, Garden City, close to downtown Cairo.
Under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, the grand ceremony will celebrate the achievements of Egypt's top 100 companies and 50 outstanding women leading the way in business, alongside other prominent figures.
The event is organised by Amwal Al Ghad economic magazine and Exlnt Communications, affiliates to United Media Services Group (UMS).
Celebrating Success in Challenging Times
Held under the theme "Egyptian Models Thriving against Challenges," the summit will acknowledge the resilience and achievements of Egyptian companies and individuals despite ongoing global economic and geopolitical tensions. The event will also feature discussions on navigating the current economic climate, fostering collaboration between the government and the private sector, and promoting best practices for sustainable growth.
Recognising Excellence across Industries
A key highlight of the summit will be the recognition of the top 100 top performing Egyptian Exchange-listed companies in Egypt. In collaboration with key banks and think tanks in the country, Amwal Al Ghad ranks these companies based on a comprehensive analysis of their market value, financial performance, and contributions to the Egyptian economy. Additionally, 50 women who have made significant contributions to the nation's business landscape will be honoured at the event in collaboration with Top 50 Women Forum, the first-of-its-kind platform that brings together female technocrats in Egypt.
The event will also feature celebrating winners of several awards, including Top Achievers, Entrepreneurs of the Year, the Influencer of The Year, the Trusted Real Estate Developer of the Year, Top Real Estate Developer of the Year, and Talaat Harb Award.
A Platform for Dialogue and Innovation
Bringing together over 400 executives, government officials, and industry leaders, the Awards Ceremony promises to be a platform for celebrating excellence and fostering dialogue on key issues impacting Egypt's economic and social development.
Building a Sustainable Future
The event also aims to highlight the government's initiatives towards achieving sustainable development and economic growth besides boosting the private sector's role in the economy. The diverse sectors represented by the honorees – including finance, banking, industry, energy, real estate, and technology – reflect Egypt's commitment to a diversified and resilient economy.
A Legacy of Recognition
Launched in 2015, Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony has become a landmark event, annually recognising outstanding achievements in the country's economic and social spheres. The previous edition, held in 2023, witnessed the participation of prominent figures, including Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir and Minister of International Co-operation Rania al-Mashat. A host of other government officials, executive leaders from major banks, institutions, and companies operating in the Egyptian market, along with business managers, innovators, academics, experts, international organisations, and regional and international partners are scheduled to attend the event.
