Egypt's top annual economic event, Amwal Al Ghad Award Ceremony has announced its 2020 keynote speaker, Dr. Harbeen Arora, founder and chairperson of the Women Economic Forum (WEF).
The global leader, speaker, educationist, philanthropist, spiritualist, mentor, author, entrepreneur, and businesswoman – Arora will deliver a keynote speech at Amwal Al Ghad's 2020 Award Ceremony, which will take place in Cairo at The Ritz-Carlton Nile on Wednesday.
In November 2018, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has awarded Arora during the World Youth Forum (WYF) in Sharm El-Sheikh for her inspiring work in women empowerment as Founder and chairperson of WEF and ALL Ladies League (ALL). She has become the very first recipient of the Presidential honour to any Indian.

Egypt will be hosting the Women Economic Forum, WEF 2020 with over 2000 women coming together from more than 120 countries, akin to the annual event held in India every year.

Arora is also founder president of Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), Chancellor of Rai University in Ahmedabad, Rai Technology University in Bangalore, and Jharkhand Rai University in Ranchi. She is also the founder of BIOAYURVEDA, an organic health and wellness enterprise. She leads ventures in hi-tech agriculture, organic farming, and sustainable living.
In 2019, Arora was selected among the Top 100 Most Reputable People on Earth, according to Reputation Poll.
Amwal Al Ghad Award Ceremony
Under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, the annual summit will celebrate and recognise the Top 100 Companies and the Most 50 Influential Women in Egypt.
Over 1,000 high-profile political, economic, and business leaderships will be attending the Event. Egyptian Ministers of Planning, International Cooperation, Transport, Public Business Sector, Trade and Industry, and Social Solidarity will be present at the award ceremony.
In addition, CEOs of the biggest companies operating in Egypt along with heads of top-notch financial institutions will also attend the Event.
The Event is organised by Amwal Al Ghad, the leading economic magazine in Egypt, in collaboration with the Top 50 Women Forum, the biggest female technocrat platform in the country.
During the Event, there will be two significant announcements; the launch of the biggest Women Mentoring Programme and the biggest national initiative to select the Most 1,350 Reputable Female Technocrats across Egypt's 27 governorates. The initiative will be based on the selection of the most influential 50 women from each governorate.
The Event will also announce the winner of The Top Young Female Banker of the Year, an award made in memory of renowned banker Nevine Lotfy.
Moreover, the Event is set to celebrate the winners of the Corporate Social Responsibility “CSR” Excellence Award, The Young Entrepreneurs Award, and the Disability-Smart Award.
