Egypt's stock market closed mixed on Sunday. The main index EGX30 fell by 3.03 per cent to 27,573.5. The small to mid-sized enterprises' index, EGX70, rose by 0.80 per cent to 6,683.1. EGX100 climbed by 0.23 per cent to 9,384.41. The market cap reached 1,971,210,954,563 Egyptian pounds. Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 2,625,549,847 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 1,603,343,343 Egyptian pounds and 1,022,206,505 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Top gainers on Sunday The shares of Medical Packaging Company (MEPA.CA) rose by 19.97 per cent to close at the price of 1.550 Egyptian pounds a share. The snares of Emaar Misr for Development (EMFD.CA) climbed by 19.80 per cent to the price of 4.900 Egyptian pounds a share. The shares of Tenth of Ramadan Pharmaceutical Industries & Diagnostic-Rameda (RMDA.CA) soared by 17.91 per cent closing at the price of 2.370 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers on Sunday The shares of Alexandria Containers and goods (ALCN.CA) dropped by 11.16 per cent to close at 57.250 Egyptian pounds a share. The shares of Oriental Weavers Carpet (ORWE.CA) declined by 9.55 per cent, to the price of 22.250 Egyptian pounds a share. The shares of Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals – SIDPEC (SKPC.CA) fell by 9.52 per cent, to close at the price of 37.560 Egyptian pounds a share.
