Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 18 - 02 - 2013

Egypt's leading carpet manufacturer Oriental Weavers Group (OW) (ORWE.CA), has been named the best booth in German DOMOTEX Hannover International Exhibition for Carpets, one of the biggest annual trade shows for the industry.
The world's leading trade fair for floor coverings is one of the most important event of the business year in 2013 – and a major driver of sales growth. It is the only place where all the major suppliers come together every year to present the complete range of floor coverings available worldwide.
In an exclusive statement to Amwal Al Ghad, the OW's Chairman Mohamed Farid Khamis said the company's wining is due to its management and employees' relentless quest for the best.
“OW is planning the launch of new expansions in Egypt within the coming period in order to meet the growing demand for its products in both local and global markets." Khamis added
On the new award, Khamis stated that Domotex Hannover's award will push the OW's activities forward towards making more expansions in the global markets, notably the EU markets. Oriental Weavers is planning to build up 3 factories in Europe in the near future which will have a positive impact on the Egyptian economy, mainly on the OW as being a national group based in Egypt, Chairman further noted.
