EGX 30 Climbs 1.77%, Ends Week Above 5730 Pts

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has ended the week through gains of EGP 4.3 billion during Thursday's closing session. The capital market has reached to EGP 388.708 billion.
The EGX indices closed in green.
The main index, EGX30 climbed by 1.77% to end at 5734.39 p. EGX20 soared by 1.65% to close at 6649.68 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 pushed up by 1.38% to conclude at 498.26 pts. Price index EGX100 surged by 1.43% to finish at 835.23 p.
During Thursday's closing, the trading volume has reached 174.109 million securities worth EGP 558.887 million, exchanged 30.590 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 182 listed securities; 34 declined, 118 advanced; while 30 keeping their previous levels.
The non-Arab foreigners and Arabs' buying transactions have backed EGX's gains on Thursday as they were net buyers seizing 9.57% and 10.58% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 34.338 million and EGP 3.040 million excluding the deals.
On the other hand, Egyptians were net sellers seizing 79.85% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 31.297 million excluding the deals.
