Hisham Ezz Al-Arab is back to CIB bank as non-executive member

Hisham Ezz Al-Arab has returned to the Commercial International Bank (CIB-Egypt) as non-executive member of its board of directors, following the central bank's approval that was unveiled in a statement on Tuesday.
In August, Ezz Al-Arab has been appointed an adviser to the governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Informed sources have said that Ezz Al-Arab is expected to become CIB chairman starting from the coming year.
Ezz Al-Arab has been chairman of CIB and the managing director from 2001 until October 2020.
He won many international awards for his contribution to financial services in the Middle East. He joined CIB since 1998 from Deutsche Bank and worked with JPMorgan and Merrill Lynch in several positions between Bahrain, New York and Cairo.
He also honoured as one of the most prominent business leaders, and a renowned leader in digital transformation operations in the banking sector and the Egyptian economy.
