Orascom Construction to build Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre

Orascom Construction has been chosen by the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation to construct the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Egypt's 6th of October City.
The 300-bed centre will be the largest regional facility for cardiac care, treatment, and research with a land area of 37 acres and a built-up area of 27 acres, the company, listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and Nasdaq Dubai, said
The Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre will have a patient capacity of more than 120,000 each year.
The project will add to Orascom Construction's portfolio of healthcare projects, including the building and refurbishing of several hospitals and medical centres in the most populous Arab nation.
