EGX 30 Rebounds, Ends Above 5710 Pts On Foreign Net Buyers

During Tuesday closing session, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has turned its midday losses to gains of EGP 819 million as the capital market has amounted to EGP 393.930 million.
EGX indices closed in green.
The main index, EGX30 rose by 0.05% to close at 5715.34 p. EGX20 inched higher by 0.14% to finish at 6678.56 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 climbed by 1.06% to conclude at 528.52 pts. Price index EGX100 went up by 0.48 % to end at 875.67 p.
Traded volume reached 244.001 million securities worth EGP 567.266 million, exchanged through 28.157 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 173 listed securities; 72 declined 72 advanced while 29 keeping their previous levels.
EGX's gains were backed by non-Arab Foreigners and Arabs' buying deals.
Egyptians were net sellers seizing 71.28% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 65.956 million excluding the deals.
On the other hand, non-Arab Foreigners and Arabs were net buyers seizing 17.8% and 10.92% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 36.803 million and EGP 29.153 million excluding the deals.
Leading Shares:
EGX's leading shares witnessed unsteady performance during the closing.
Citadel Capital:
Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA)'s stock dived by 1.21% to close at EGP 4.09.
Orascom Construction Industries:
Orascom Construction Industries – OCI (OCIC.CA)'s stock went down by 1.08% to end at EGP 266.54.
EFG-Hermes:
EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) fell by 0.99% to finish at EGP 11.97.
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding:
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA) soared by 5.66% to end at EGP 0.56.
Orascom Telecom Holding:
Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE.CA) climbed by 1.40% to conclude at EGP 3.62.
