Egyptian Businessmen Association, headed by Eng. Hussein Sabour, will receive on Monday night Dr Tarek Wafiq, Minister of Housing and New Urban Communities, to review the ministry's future vision and the action plan that prepared by construction committee in the association of real estate investment, constructions and engineering consultations sectors. Fathalla Fawzy, chairman of construction committee, said the meeting will discuss all the obstacles that face the investment and find solutions for them. It will also review the opinions of contractors and real estate developers over the problems and the proposed solutions as well the policies that should be implemented. Fawzy referred that Eng. Hassan Abdel-Aziz, Chairman of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC), will take up the companies' problems which include 10 challenges. Some of these problems are the lack of the presented projects and the arrears of the government. The balanced contract between construction companies and the reference authorities will be also discussed, besides amending Law 89/1998 of the tenders and paying compensations, prices differences, companies' tax accounting, and credit facilities. Hassan Malek, Chairman of Ebda, Eng. Hassan Sabour- Chairman of Egyptian Businessmen Association, and Eng. Fathalla Fawzy will attend the meeting, plus a number of investors in the construction and real estate investment sectors.
