Misr Life Insurance Company, affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector, will offer its bancassurance products to customers in 14 branches of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). Misr Life Insurance Company has signed a bancassurance agreement to promote its products to customers of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). Hesham Okasha, NBE chairman, said that the bank will increase the number of branches that promote Misr Life Insurance products to 150 branches in June. Misr Life Insurance will provide insurance services to 500,000 customers at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). The company is now working with 6 banks to offer insurance products. The company will offer a new pension product "Maash Bokra" that will be sold to customers aged between 18 and 59 years with payment period of five years. Under the scheme, customers can choose either to get a lump sum at retirement or receive fixed monthly income for 10 years when they reach pension age or in case of death or full disability before pension age.
