Gold prices today in Egypt slightly rose by around 1.02 Egyptian pounds ($0.064) per gram. According to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday, the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, reached around 693.87 pounds, while 18-carat gold hit 594.74 pounds. The increase in local market was triggered by a relative stability in the prices of the yellow metal, which rose to $1,558 per ounce.
