Egypt's newly-established insurance firm, Golden Shield received last week a three-year licence for insurance brokerage activity, said official sources from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) on Saturday. "The new company's issued capital amounts to around 2 million Egyptian pounds ($124,072)," the sources further told Amwal Al Ghad. Last October, FRA granted three insurance startups; Osool Insurance Brokerage, and Alliant Insurance Services a three-year insurance brokerage licence. Last November, the market regulator also granted Sky Insurance Brokerage the licence.
