Today Obama speech should not be taken as some dollars to help Egypt and Tunis with some good intentions and hopeful wishes for other people in the Middle East. In fact the speech stressed on the main developments of the Middle East and how to best use them in the global American strategy for this new century. The most important statement which constitute the main idea of the speech is that the free Middle East and North Africa region is important for the US and global security. In other words what could be the main battle against global terrorism is present in the atrocities of the regimes that were the direct reason for poverty and extremism that took different shapes with the terrorism was the ugliest face. Obama stressed that his country will both help the new democracies directly by aids and writing off debts and will also help these countries to get back the stolen money by the impeached regimes. Policy is not charity. Then what gains the US may achieve for that help? In strategic thinking when the global force leader tell that a region is important for his country means that the relations with the region should reach the level of alliance using different methods to achieve this aim. Within this frame he knows that the main obstacle to develop these relations to reach this level frankly not only behind doors is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Therefore he addressed this conflict directly but cautiously because he does not want a confrontation with Israel now and he wanted to press on both parts especially the Palestinians after the reconciliation. It is clear that the Israel file moved from the level of its existence within the frame of an Arab-Israeli conflict that should be subjected to direct Israeli-Arab power imbalance in favor of Israel with unlimited and endless American support to another level within the frame of the super power alliance building that dictates a new power balance that mutual interests of the US on one hand and the main forces in the region on the other hand that emerged as Tahrir people who paid their lives for freedom and their domino effect can reach as far as the American strategy need to achieve its global aims. To help people to formulate their foreign policy in a way that meets the American interests Obama talked about the new Palestinian state within borders of 1967. His words that Jerusalem is an emotional problem mean that the final status of the holey city should keep interests of all religions. This opens the door for a solution that considers the city a capital for both states with a mutual committee to rule it or an international body to rule it. When Obama asks for non armed Palestinian state he should have arrangements that keep the security arrangements for this newly born state. Whether a mixture of regional and international forces to be stationed on the borders of the new state, or giving NATO a direct mission to keep peace, still to be explored. The first response from Hamas that Obama did not provide anything new means that the leaders of Gaza are still hesitant to take the difficult decisions The Syrian support of Hamas is untrustworthy in the future if the Syrian regime will not contain its internal problem. On the long term it is likely that Syria will witness internal changes that will affect its foreign policy in an unknown way until now. But there is one thing that is subjected to geopolitics of the region is that no war in Palestine without Egypt. Hamas leaders should provide a vision that depends on peaceful establishment of building a Palestinian state not to go to another conflict with Egypt the Palestinian's main supporter as history tells that the whole issue is part of the Egyptian national security. One last word should be known. Obama said when it comes to religions one should accept the others' faiths as Tahrir square taught the world. This means a frank support for the warning that was issued by the military council to use an iron fist against trials to instigate sectarian conflicts. Until now there is a good background to build a new relation with the super power and this will be more distinct in the G8 summit that will be attended by Dr. Esam Sharaf the Prime Minister. Again our main enemies are the fundamentalists and extremists from both sides that will write their end soon if they continue. The military actions against them will have the support of both Egyptians and global system. The residuals of the old regime will be in the same prisons. Or that what I predict or hope.
