An Egyptian official denied on Wednesday reports the government had imposed curfews in certain cities across the country, state-run television said. On Wednesday, rumors have been circulating on social networking websites that the government will impose a night curfew in downtown Cairo where thousands of protesters have demonstrated in the last two days. A partial curfew, however, was imposed for four hours in downtown Cairo when pedestrians were denied entry by security forces to the Tahrir Square' area. Other reports alleged that the government has imposed curfews in the coastal city of Suez where three protesters were killed on Tuesday. Al-Masry Al-Youm couldn't independently confirm these reports.
