Yemeni Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has attacked the Reform Party of the Yemeni Muslim Brotherhood for criticizing her stance on Egypt's popular uprising that aims to overthrow President Mohamed Morsy. Karman, an icon of the peaceful youth revolution in Yemen, told party members in a press conference that they should allow her to express her opinion and participate in decision-making, instead of insulting her and calling her a traitor. “And if they do not consider me as one of them, I still have the right to express my opinion and evaluate their performance,” she said. “Do not act in this way with me or anyone else.” Karman also said a revolution is more important than any party, group, or sect.
